Why I don't drink coffee anymore ? Cute Girl Hair Color Spa

Those looking for a drink that's just a bit bit different might consider trying dandelion coffee. Yes, that's right ? it truly is made of dandelion roots. When roasted and pressed into granules, it appears to be a lot like normal coffee. A few individuals think that it tastes similar, too , though not everyone will agree with that! Even if you feel that it?s way too much of a stretch to have it replace your day to day espresso, it can still be a fascinating libation to try once in a while.

Dandelion coffee is by no means an invention. In reality Susanna Moodie wrote a book, way back in 1852, in which she explained the way to prepare it. She wasn't the first inventor, either, as she said that she?d read the recipe back in the 1830s. This drink has quite an extensive history, then! Shortly after World War One, when standard coffee was expensive due to food shortfalls, the dandelion variety was momentarily preferred as a cheaper alternative. Nonetheless its modern popularity dates back to the last few decades, as interest has gradually grown in natural and herbal foods.

Some of the people consider dandelion tea a close relative to dandelion coffee, but they are really made differently. The major difference is that dandelion tea isn't roasted, while coffee is.

Preparing dandelion coffee is relatively simple, but you must be careful, and to watch what you are doing. In particular, it is very important only to use the stalks of true dandelions, instead of other plants which will look similar. Quite a big crop is needed for over the odd cup, and you must put aside a lot of time for the preparation process.

This is quite simple ? the dandelions must be dried, then cut into tiny pieces. After roasting, they're cut into the tiny granules that slightly seem like standard coffee beans. A few people claim that this kind of coffee helps to give protection to the liver.

Jenny Wells is still looking for the best coffee substitute. She has tried dandelion coffee, but it wasn?t her favorite!
